Where in the world are our readers?

Ours is a very small blog (just me and my computer) aimed at readers with specialized interests (total views are under 7,000…which for the niche we represent is satisfying to me). I’m nevertheless proud to report that our readership literally spans the globe, with Africans very much present and indeed prominent among them! Here’s a breakdown of numbers over the last year (365 days ending today).

100+ views from Africa: United Republic of Tanzania, Kenya, South Africa. From elsewhere: USA, Canada, UK, Germany, France.

61-99 views from Africa: Nigeria, Ghana. From elsewhere: Sweden, Australia, Netherlands.

16-60 views from Africa: Zimbabwe, Uganda, Sudan, Rwanda, Zambia. From elsewhere: Brazil, India, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Belgium, Switzerland, Japan, Mexico.

10-15 views from Africa: Ethiopia, Burundi, Benin, Egypt, Mauritius, Morocco, Réunion, Cape Verde. From elsewhere: Philippines, Chile, Austria, Norway, Pakistan, Jamaica, Denmark, Israel, Ireland, Finland, Iceland, Czech Republic, Iraq.

2-9 views from Africa (the so-called “long tail“?): Malawi, Mozambique, Gambia, Liberia, Algeria, Senegal, Angola, Burkina Faso, Botswana, Sierra Leone, Tunisia, Cameroon, Niger, Côte d’Ivoire, Madagascar . From elsewhere: Greece, Malaysia, Costa Rica, Indonesia, Turkey, Thailand, Panama, Lithuania, Bahamas, Hong Kong, Hungary, Barbados, Taiwan, Singapore, Qatar, Russian Federation, New Zealand, Ukraine, Malta, Republic of Korea, Trinidad and Tobago, Poland, Colombia, Venezuela, Serbia, Argentina, Myanmar, Puerto Rico, United Arab Emirates, Cambodia, Suriname, Belize, Viet Nam, Ecuador, Lebanon.

1 view from Africa: Gabon, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Swaziland. From elsewhere: Oman, Saudi Arabia, Moldova, Paraguay, Croatia, Guam, Slovakia, Romania, Aruba.

Welcome, best wishes for 2014, and thanks for reading.
