The 29th annual Carter Conference will be held on March 15-16 in room 282 of the Reitz Union on the University of Florida campus (see campus map). The theme is “The Politics of Permanent Flux: State-Society Relations in the Horn of Africa” and is organized by the Center for African Studies and religion professor Terje Ostebo.
