Gwendolen M. Carter Conference (March 15-16, 2013)

The 29th annual Carter Conference will be held on March 15-16 in room 282 of the Reitz Union on the University of Florida campus (see campus map). The theme is “The Politics of Permanent Flux: State-Society Relations in the Horn of Africa” and is organized by the Center for African Studies and religion professor Terje Ostebo.

The Carter Conference is named in honor of former UF political science professor Gwendolen M. Carter.
